Snow White Upcoming Live Action Movie

Snow White's prince is gonna finally have a name in this Snow White and his name is gonna be Jonathan? That's something surprising because in the animated Snow White the prince's name is never revealed. And why Jonathan for the name of the prince? Because in royalty princes should have names like Alastair or Stephen or even Peter

Making these Disney horror movies that are awful? I went to see terrifer 3 last night and had a preview for a movie screamboat where steamboat willie is killing everyone on the Staten Island ferry. Side note........I really have no words to describe what I watched and witnessed in terrifier 3. Never again

First I’ve heard about this. Trailer looks good. I don’t have a problem with live-action and have enjoyed many (not all) of the remakes. I’m in.

That movie is not being made by Disney. It's an independent film as the character of Steamboat Willie is in the public domain.

Yea I know none of them are made by Disney. I saw a few of them being a big horror fan. I thought they were terrible. There making a bunch like Alice and mad hater, Bambi, Pooh 2. Just watched a movie called mouse trap where a teleporting killer with a Mickey head goes around killing everyone.

All of those characters are in the public domain. They're being made to cash in on that fact.

Saw a teaser trailer in front of “Coco” today at AMC. Looks good, but trying to get past Ziegler’s hair… was giving me Johnny Depp Charlie and the Chocolate Factory vibes !

Also a good one, the most common comparison I have seen is to Lord Farquaad's hair from Shrek 1.

Wow the trailer teaser on YouTube has 93,000 likes and 1.3 million dislikes. If nothing else, Disney has created an entertaining comment section on their YouTube channel.

What I think: they didnt want to copy the parks, they wanted something new. It had to be a bob to stay "close" to the original, but if they went for curls or waves they would lean in too much into Rachel's Colombian heritage. And based on Little Mermaid's backlash they tried to find something between the animation, the parks and what fits her heritage .

And by making no decision... they made a bad decision.

I think it is something like that, trying to compromis too much.

Very good points ! Bailey is so beautiful.. and, personally, I loved her hair in TLM… Rachel is stunning as well, but they really didn’t do her any justice !

I'm in Japan right now and have seen poster ads for it on the trains and in stores so it would be odd to spend the money on ads for it to not come out.

Forbes put out an article, saying the budget is about 270 million dollar. A Dutch film website added that with the promotional budget the movie probably has to make 400 million dollar to break even.

Speaking of movies bombing Red One didn't do so well opening weekend. I saw it Saturday and loved it. I thought it was so good. Heading to the Wicked opening tonight at 6:30. If anyone cares I'll drop my opinion later on.

Wicked was amazing! Probably could have cut a little to make it shorter. Grande was by far my favorite in the movie. It was very entertaining. The music was awesome. Strongly recommend it! Next movie next week......Moana 2!

I saw Red One and loved it. And felt it as good for young teens maybe 10+ .
Don’t know what the rating is .
I think it is doing better Internationally.
I think they couldn’t sell this one because of Krampus the evil Santa .
I guess it will stream on Amazon Prime hopefully to watch again.
