Snow White Birthday Card

I am not really a card marker but I give it a whirl every once in awhile.

Anyway, My mother is a freak when it comes to Snow White. She goes NUTS when she sees Dopey when we go to Disney. Anyhoo, she turns 60 on Saturday and this is a card I made for her. I didn't want "birthday" or "60" on the front cover because she might like the card and frame it LOL. Who wants to be reminded of their age everyday. Not her that's who LOL

Dopey is 3D, the Balloons are brads and Dopey is "holding" on to the balloons with white wire.

Here's the inside. Nothing fab but it gets the point across when she opens it LOL

Since I had to make moms card I made a birthday card for a birthday party my son is going to Saturday morning.

Those look so awesome! I love the glitter on the Snow White card. What cart is the "Happy Birthday" from? I don't recognize it...

the Happy birthday is from Gypsy Wanderings
I made the 60th with George and welded it to Happy Birthday.

I cut out Happy 60th Birthday in blue
them cut out the original Happy Birthday that the cart has in yellow so the 60th stands out a bit. ALso I don't know if you can see when I put the yellow on the blue I moved it down a bit so you get a shadow of blue behind the yellow words.


As for the glitter is just glitter glue, I needed my mom to open it and go DAMN I'm 60 LOL

the face was pretty easy but the eyes oh that is another story LOL
I actually used a black scrapbook pen to do the blacks in the eyes.
The eyes on Dopey I just used the tiniest circle punch I had to make the "blues".

Snow White is cut at 5 and Dopey is cut at 4 that's what probably made them easy. ALso when I was first cutting Dopey's outfit the blade was tearing up the paper. I just though if something so big is hard to cut I can just picture me cutting the arms and faces. So I changed my blade and it cut so clean.
