I love this little secret too! Though last trip, it scared the crap out of my DD7! I suppose it does look kind of menacing, especially with a torn up track in front of you.

Poor thing! I'm sure it could be upsetting the way Disney Imagineers go to the smallest detail.

(BTW, glad I didn't see those prints the first time I rode when we got to that point in the ride.....)

Awesome picture! It looks like you're doing a dinosaur impression with hands all scrunced up! And I love how bored the dudes behind you look. How can you be bored on that ride? It's just not possible. We love it though last time I think I dislodged my appendix...

What I love is the way the group in the back row is mocking our pose........they look so convincing!

I really should post some more of the pictures I took of her talking. Seems like every time I snapped a picture was the most non-flattering pose the way she held her mouth or her eyes. The owl was pretty much always flashing those eyes.....

We've never done this show, mostly because the idea of large birds swooping near my head kind of freaks me out. But it does look pretty amazing.

Just sit pretty much in the middle. The swooping birds tend to go to the back right or the back left of the theatre.

Marv, what a great update and great pictures. I have no idea how I did as I can't reven remember my answers anymore, but this is one of my favorite updates. And I LOVE the family picture with Goofy (I didn't know you wore glasses...they make you look very sophisticated).

I am so glad you enjoyed Yak & Yeti. We really loved it back in 2008. And, although I have it booked for September, I will probably cancel as I want to go to Flame Tree. But we will definitely be back.

Flame Tree and now Y&Y are our two favorites at AK.

Great Update Marv !!There was very little Rosie bashingI was spot on with your food from Y&YGot laundry right too !!!The dessert was my favorite thing at Y & Y , the steak was alittle to well done for my "Rareness" and I would have preferred fried rice to the jasmine rice , and they said no substitutes !!The shrimp was great !! Any who I at least wont get a ) this time !!!!

Nope, you definitely won't get a " ) " this round Rosie, but I might give you a }. I love fried rice, but I also liked the jasmine rice. I guess it is rather hard to get the steak rare as thin as it is??? I enjoyed all of it though. I was worried the "flank" steak would be tough, but it wasn't.

I love all the pictures of the trees. Everytime i been to AK (which is only two times) I never really went near the tree of life or camp minnie mickey. I must do that sometime.

Hi marv! I love the last updates, even if most of my answers are wrong AK is my favorite park, except for the lack of beverages. I think it's because the themes are seamless, so you can just be immersed in the "culture" for the entire day!

I love AK too! There is a little bit of everything there to do it seems.

We enjoyed Y&Y alot, too! I'm glad we didn't listen to the naysayers and just decided to make our own decision. That was our last day and we didn't have ADRS - we were able to walk in about 4pm with no problem. Now the CS Y&Y we were really disappointed in - tasted like they were serving leftovers - I think we will opt for Flametree next time.

Don't think I've heard anything good about the CS Y&Y. We love FTBBQ!

Really nice family pic with Goofy! You got a pretty good pic of TOL all lit up - I've never seen it in the dark.

First time we've been at AK at night. Usually we are there in the summertime and the park closes way before sunset.

Are there questions I can get wrong for chapter 31 posted - I didn't see them.

Thanks for all the complements! I checked the EMH for the parks when we are going to be there next week and there weren't any EEMH for AK, only morning. Can't believe they have gotten rid of them completely.

They can't be that hard, someone even got the question about the Wish boy and his Mom right! I thought sure a few more might get that one since some on here are very familiar with some of the Wish kids and the fact they get to enter the front of the line via the exits, and how special ones like Princess Juliana are to me!

And to be honest, with all the women on top in the standings for my TR contest it is a question that might be slanted a little towards helping the men/DIS Dads catch up a little because surely they would know that New Year’s Day is one long series of College Football Bowl Games, from about 11:00 am (EST) until late into the evening. And since we had stayed in our room to watch one of them the night before, instead of returning to DHS for the NYE fireworks, I feel certain that when I tally the scores the real men in the crowd, and some of you ladies who I know also pull for certain college football teams, will have garnered an extra point for this question............

I thought about going to the pool, and Drew really wanted to go, but nobody listened to my weather reports when we were packing so nobody else had a bathing suit. We actually checked the gift shop but I guess they don't think they need a full stock of suits in January.
