I recall Kathy saying that whenever she was feeling down, that whip picture picked her right up! Well, it worked for me too!

Oooh, I have a chocolate cake recipe that my family loves. Actually it's just the Perfectly Chocolate Cake recipe on the box of Hershey's baking cocoa, but it's soooo good!

2 cups sugar
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water

Directions
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.

2. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.

3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost with "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING. 10 to 12 servings.

"PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add small amount additional milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.

Thanks for the recipe! I was about to search for a recipe for chocolate frosting for my baby's birthday tomorrow and I thought I'd just catch up on my TR's first and there it was. :)

You're welcome!:goodvibes This frosting is so ridiculously easy to make AND tastes like fudge. It's a win-win!:thumbsup2

I like a small town game now and then, but not the big hype of what it is now. I would go for the crackerjacks though. ;)

We love taking the kids to see the local minor league team. They keep it very family friendly and it doesn't cost a mortgage payment(literally) like it does to go to a Yankees' game now since they moved to their new fancy stadium.

See, that's what I'm saying!! Family friendly, hot dogs, cheap prices, it's the All-American thing to do!

That's what we do too...go to a game or two of the local minor league team. I can't see paying the prices of a major league game. The kids aren't interested in the game anyway. They're more interested in the snacks and everything else going on.

We are actually thinking of having DS's 8th bday party there. It's Cowboy Monkey Rodeo night. So fun!

If you HAVE submitted answers, you may want to go back and check them. There have been a couple of you who skipped one of the questions, and since you answered all the rest I'm guessing you didn't mean to leave one out!!! ;)
