Snow this morning, Freezing Rain this evening and now...

Its thundering and lightning!!! In January!
With all the snow on the ground the flashes of lightning are really brite. And the thunderclaps are keeping me awake.
There has to be about an inch of ice on my street.
Hmm just good ol wacky weather for NE Ohio I guess

Wow, we had thunder here a few weeks ago but no lightning. That must be really weird. We're supposed to get 12+ inches of snow starting late this afternoon into tomorrow.

they said on the news its because the air at the top of the atmostpher was warm enough, it only the air down by us that is cold. How strange?????

5 min after posting, lightning hit a pole 2 houses down knocking out the electricity for a long time. Had to throw an extra blanket on the bed to stay warm.

We have the thunder and lightning right now. And, its pouring.

Theres a ton of ice on the trees. You can hear it creak in the wind
