Snow! Snow! Snow!

Okay...we are getting bombarded by a huge Nor' Easter storm here in Nova Scotia...40 to 50 cm fell last night (appx 20 inches) with maybe half that again due to fall today...all I can say is THANK GOD we are heading for Orlando this Sunday!!! (The forecast is okay for the weekend!)

In honour of our lovely weather, the following poem came to mind, courtesy of Winnie the Pooh...

What I don't understand is why my ancestors who were from Scotland chose to move to a country where the climate was even worse than their homeland????

I think thats the same storm that gave us only a bunch of freezing drizzle Monday night through yesterday. I wish we had gotten serious snow instead. You all are lucky!!!
