Snow Report!

Hi

I went to Exeter in Devon today and it was snowing!!! I was just wondering if anybody else had snow wherever they are. It was only a little but still snow!, it had just started laying on roofs and cars.

See, I did send it over to you. It just took awhile to get there. Our white stuff is looking pretty nasty right now. I'm wishing it would warm up and go away.

OUr snow is almost a week old and it's looking really tired and dirty. We either need some new stuff or it needs to go away.

Let's hope you will get a nice fresh layer of snow in time for Christmas! We have never had a white christmas..... Oh well there is a first for everything!

..... not a single flake here so far Richard ! They are also saying it will be less cold soon so doesn't look as if snow is imminent ...... yet!

Well we had an ice storm this morning. So now there is a thick layer of ice on top of the icky dirty snow. The kids also had another day off school.

Your children must love having the snow - all the sledging and snowball fights! (and the time of school )

Is there any chance they will be going baclk to school before christmas now, or do they finish soon anyway?

Yes, DS is loving the time off. Unfortunately, it's still ice raining and he's stuck inside. Currently watching cartoon network while his brain slowly turns to mush. The problem with the snow days is that the school board builds two or three into the schedule. After that, the kids will have to make them up at the end of the year.

They don't break for Christmas holiday until next Friday and they go back on Jan 2, so they're not getting a very long break.

We had snow for about 2 hours this afternoon but it didn't stick, unfortunately for the kids!!!.
We're in Staffs.
