Snow Queen

Prior to Frozen, the evil queen from Snow White was known as The Snow Queen. She is my fave villian. I have never met her. When I ask about her, I get mixed reactions. Some understand who I mean and others are confused.
So what is the correct way of referring to the evil queen from Snow White?

Evil Queen, or if you want to be nerdy, Queen Grimhilde but then you might get more confused stares unless you are talking to another Disney nerd.

I'm pretty old, so was into Disney before the renaissance in the '90s, and certainly before Frozen, and don't recall the Snow White Evil Queen being called the Snow Queen. Maybe you were mashing up "Snow White" and "Queen"?

"The Snow Queen" was the name of a Hans Christian Andersen story. Maybe that got in there somehow? Frozen was based very loosely on "The Snow Queen".
