It was really wierd though that you could only see it in the lights - otherwise you couldn't see it coming down except when it hit you in the face - then it just hurt. LOL Thanks for the pics

Am I evil to admit that I woke up to the 6:00 am fireworks going off (for whichever wave that was) and rolled over in bed, nice and warm, thankful that I wasn't outside? (although it was in the 20's the next morning as I waited for the start of the full marathon)

Yes, you guys do have permission to throw something at me. Thanks liznboys for the photos. That isn't something that you see everyday in Florida.

But, seriously, kuddos to those of you that got out there and did the half marathon despite the crappy weather conditions.

I thought it was more like freezing rain because it made noise and bounced off of my hat. I'm glad for what ever consistency it was because it didn't stick to our bodies and make us extremely cold at the start; as opposed to waiting 20 minutes in the cold, windy, liquid rain in the gear check line.....yuck!!!! Still, it was a good run (as any run at Disney is).

Ed~ From what I saw it was a mix of snow and sleet and then it was all sleet and then the coooold rain. I agree, it was nice when it was the snow/sleet and didn't soak right in!
