Snow on the way?

No snow here in Glasgow yet.

I do hope if it does snow it waits until tomorrow afternoon when I finish work for the weekend!

We had a light dusting this morning, nothing much to speak of but you would not believe the trouble it caused doing the school run - a 15 minute journey turned into over an hour!

I love the snow though, its so pretty - just wish I didn't have to drive in it.

well we had a few heavy showers but not lying really. Liam was meant to be going to a basketball competition with school tonight but that has been cancelled as there is snow where it was due to be held and lots forcast for tonight

Living on an island we never gete much snow , but oh boy today its arrived

snowed on and off , then for 4 hrs solid it never stopped , airport is closed , lots of road closures , buses cancelled and no doubt schools will be closed tomorrow.

Its nice to look at , but not be in it , we had to walk to church this morning as we were going to a christening , near fell a few times :-(
:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

we have loads of snow. my 5 min or so car journey home from work took me 3/4 of an hour. I like to look at snow but i like it to disappear fast. I think we had too much snow at beginning of the year though so its not a novelty now

I have never ever liked snow as I am a sun person and live for the summer. I fell over last year whilst walking to work and am dreading it snowing again this year. Hoping we will miss it this year in London.

No snow here (well ok we might have had enough flakes to count on 1 hand :lmao:)

I'm just hoping it doesn't rain... Last year it rained over night when it was really cold and the pavements were extremely slippery in the morning - I ended up walking to the bus station in my snowboard boots for extra grip and walking down the middle of the road where possible as the pavement wasn't gritted.

we have had lots of snow today. on and off for most of the day and it settled v quickly.

It's stopped now but there is a good covering :scared1:

We live in Kirkella which is on the East Coast and we must have had everybodys dose of snow this weekend.

We had about 4/5 inches yesterday and a further 6 inches to day and guess what its snowing again at this very moment.

Without a doubt all the schools will be closed tomorrow and way the snow is falling, they'll be closed the full blinking week:sad2:

Oh well, sledging it is

we've had a lot of snow this weekend with more forecast. It is also bitterly cold, went down to -11c last night :scared1::scared1:

We've found out that the primary school is closed just waiting to hear about the secondary.

Looks like it will be another day of sledging and then trying to dry all the ski trousers and jackets and the mass of gloves that the kids go through
