I am a maintenance supervisor on a major highway in New Jersey, and in charge of snow/ice controll. Had Snow last Sunday Night! Ice Last Night!! 6-8 Inches of Snow forcast for tomorrow night!!! And a major Nor-Easter forcast for Late This Weekend INTO Early Next Week!!!.......HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PACK FOR OUR TRIP NEXT WEEK WITH ALL OF THIS %$@!%&I*^^#!!!!!!!!!! SNOW AND ICE
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my DH works for the city and plows in the winter- he is singing a different song then you.... "let it snow, let it snow" he is an overtime junkie
but....i understand where you are coming from that is why i only go on vacation now when the NE winter storms are over

I am soooo not looking forward to another snow storm. We are in S. Jersey too. Hope the weather man is wrong and it misses us, or falls apart before it gets to us.

Vacation Disney....I am from Toms River area and I sure hope that isnt suppose to hit us. I havent seen it on the news but then again, I havent watched the news....

I went on the 1/29/05 Western and feared not getting out of Atlantic City but thank the lord I did. It was the week AFTER that only decent storm we have gotten so far.

I feel for you....my BIL works for the city of Milwaukee & has worked some ungodly stretches of time during a big snow storm. Just think of the extra cash that you can use for relaxing cocktails while onboard!

Nice to see my neighbors across the river from me in Jersey feeling like I do! We drove home from the 1-15 into the snowstorm of Jan 22. And I was so happy the other day when I saw my perenniel herbs starting to sprout lovely little happy twigs of tarragon, thyme, and such!

T&B - SHHHH!!! Let's keep the snow OUT of MD!!! As a matter of fact, when they started calling for this snow, DH and I started talking more seriously about a permanent move to Florida! We are looking around Haines City (approx 36 minutes from Disney according to Mapquest!)

As I type this, I'm wearing shorts and a tank top because it's 82 degrees outside. I just finished planting some pansies in my flower bed, and I actually got a slight burn because it's so nice and sunny outside! There's a warm breeze blowing, the birds are singing, the bees are buzzing...

Sorry! I just couldn't resist! There's so few times I get to brag about living in Louisiana!

After reading about everyone else's weather, I am kind of embarrassed that I was complaining about my could toes from the rains in CA. My husband's work picks up with the rain so he is working tons of overtime to make money for our cruise. More fun stuff for the family!
