Yep, been snowing here since this morning. Not sure how much we got so far so we can't see the GRASS anymore! LOL

Actually, we were out and about last weekend, even tho it was a BALMY -10 or so . . . but we didn't stay out long!!! Just enough to run to our car!!

It snowed here yesterday and last night, we probably have about 4 inches, supposed to get more starting late tonight, then rain/freezing rain and more snow tomorrow. I'm in SE Ohio though, not really midwest.....

Nothing here yet either but it's getting dark looking outside. The NIU radar looks like it should hit us soon. First they said starting about 4, then they said around midnight - frankly I'm not sure they know when it will hit. We had some this morning as I was driving the kids to Aurora for school and it was pretty heavy then, but it didn't stick. Went and got the car washed during my lunch to get some of the junk off it so it could accumulate more tomorrow!!!!

I'm with the others, is it spring yet??? We haven't been use to this for a couple of years....

I don't have a window so I have no clue if it has started or not. I know it's coming. I am so glad I drove my daughter back to Minneapolis LAST weekend.

My biggest worry is that my 16 year old son has to work in 7 minutes. He's driving himself. I hope he's careful coming home--he's got my car!

Tomorrow our band program is sponsoring a jazz band festival with 79 schools participating. The thought of all those kids on all those buses in this weather makes me cringe! Hope it goes well. I usually work in the cafeteria for this thing but since I'm recovering from major surgery they left me alone this year. Good thing, because under normal circumstances, food service and I are a bad combination!

Here in Chicago we are supposed to get a few inches...what I don't get is why everyone here is freaking out? It is only snow. I don't like cleaning off my car and digging it out but you do what you have to do and start your day? Am I the only one that doesn't see this as a blight on my day?

I heard we're expecting up to a foot. It's hard to drive in. It takes longer to get where you're going. Inexperienced drivers can have accidents. And you have to get rid of it. We're at the far end of an alley that the village doesn't plow, so snow removal for my son and husband is quite a significant task. If our neighbors don't help (and I'm guessing most of them don't have to be somewhere at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow like my son does), they have to snowblow a half block of snow to get out. It's a blight on our day.

Oh Man!! I need to move down south ! Up here in the Hudson Valley NY we are expected to get 12-15" of snow. It is supposed to start around noon.
