Snow Fall

Can anyone tell me when and where the snow falls in DL? My kids would love it!!! After living their whole lives (all of 4 years) in Colorado we now live in Mexico and they keep asking me when will it snow....uh, sorry, never!! Luckily we're heading back to Colorado for some "real" snow after DL.

If they are doing the same thing that they've been doing the past 2 yrs. w/ the castle lighting, then there will be snow during that (don't know times). And there is also snow at the end of fireworks. Spots for snow would be on MS & the walkway to IASW. I don't remember if the area by the ROA does or not though.

It snows on MS after fireworks, but it's not real snow, it's bubbles.

The park has special park maps that show the "snow zones" - you'll know ahead of time where to stand. IIRC it snows on Main Street and on up to IASW.

I don't remember the other locations, tho.

Adding - what I mean by 'special park maps' is that it's the usual park map but if you look closely, it'll have little icons placed throughout the park that symbolize where the snow will fall.

That's the long way of saying there's only ONE map handed out!

It also "snows" in New Orleans Square area after the fireworks.

When my kids were small I used to also take them to Knotts Merry Farm, and there they made a snow hill for kids to sled down. My kids loved it.
