Snow, Delayed Flights and Resort Reservations

We are set to fly to Orlando early Friday morning. Now snow is predicted for Thursday night. If our flight is delayed an entire day, do we still pay for the unused room? Has this happened to anyone and how did Disney handle it?

Folks' experience with this vary; Disney is typically very generous, but whatever they offer would be a matter of generosity, nothing else. As with most resorts that require deposits, you're obligated for the first night's room rate even if you don't make it.

Not sure where you live but could you possibly fly out on Thursday? Most airlines are pretty good about changing flight reservations if there is an expected storm.
