long story, but we're not staying in valdosta anymore... gonna go post on my PTR before I go to bed. The fountains is a little spray park type of thing in town, it's free and wet

Being able to stay in Pensacola and visiting the beach will be very cool, too!

I am HERE at the Caribbean Beach Resort!!!! whooohoooo!
I had to do an update because this will be my only opportunity. WDW charges $10 a day for internet use and Hubs said 1 day is enough.

I already have a title for TR! It hasn't been too bad temperature wise, around 90 with a little humidity. The parks are CROWDED, though. I am guessing because of Memorial Day Wknd., SWW, Gay Days and Free Dining Plan. I don't remember the parks being this crowded ever, in my past two visits.

I had one DISmeet planned and didn't arrive to it on time due to the busses. Really???? Waiting forever for a bus and then having to stand all the way to Epcot at 10:30am in the morning. That is crazy! So sorry I missed you, Corrine. I was really looking forward to meeting you and Liam.

Well, it is 9:30pm and the kids are already in bed. We have been totally wearing them out here! They beg us to go to bed....
Hoping to make rope drop tomorrow at DHS.

So glad that you arrived safely!

If you're having issues with the buses, try another bus stop. I know the buses usually hit the pirate section last on their list, so it was usually SRO when we boarded last year.

Sorry you missed meeting Corrine. Maybe you'll bump into each other later this week.

Had the same prob with the busses. Waited forever most days. I was not real impressed with CBR, dont plan to stay again. Pirate room was a big hit, as was the pool and the beach area with the hammocks, but the bus service, poor mousekeeping, and the food court left a lot to be desired for us. I also think the crowds were awful. Hated the craziness of it all.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with CBR. We did have a few lengthy waits for buses when we went, but everything else was spot on. I do hope you complained about the bus service, mousekeeping, and food quality.

Sorry to hear about the crowds. Good thing you have some DIS knowledge to know how to work around them somewhat.

I agree with Lidian on the bus stops. If the internal bus stops first, take it somewhere else. We stayed in Jamaica and were either the first or third stop depending on which hotel entrance they used.

And than we were playing phone tag because we couldn't hear our phones ring (and you texting issues) I had 5 dismeets planned and only got to do 2 of them. Oh well, I guess that just strengthens the case to have a girls only trip with Lidian.

They aren't back yet. They had a nice vacation at the beach after their WDW trip. They're still on the road. Hopefully she'll get it started early next week! (My fingers are crossed because I'm going into withdrawals!)

I AM BACK!!!! It is so nice to go on vacation, but there is no place like home!!!!! I was really starting to miss my sweet fur babies. I have some CRAZY stories from this trip and cannot wait to get started.

Does anyone have tips on how to get this pretrip report moved? I have never done this before. I also may need some tips on links to make my TR user friendly....hint! hint!.

I am really enjoying reading everyone's TR. It is like reliving the trip thru a different set of eyes. LOVE IT!!!!!!

You can move the PTR to TR by sending one of the moderators a PM that you would like to move it. You can find there names on the main forum page and click on them to get to there page. Otherwise you can just start a new Thread under the new TR section (thats what I did) and add a link to the end of your PTR.
