Once my area got like a foot of snow, and a freezing rain after that. So not only was there tons of snow, but everything was icy as well. I swear, every school district surrounding us was out, but we were in. Oh man was everyone so ticked off about that.

but i was sick so i couldnt go outside and my one friend blew me off all day she played outside all day

My high school NEVER HAS SNOW DAYS... i mean we are on block sceduleling so we earn are credits faster then other schools? did anyone see the plane that went off the runway at midway? i live like 20 mins away from there.. i only flew outta midway once.. i dont like it very much

I had a snow day the 9 of december and then i had one this past fri......the 16. I was so happy but then i didn't realize we only have 3 left b/c of those 2 snow days and back in october our high school and middle school (h.s. and m.s. connected) were infested with fleas!!!!! ewwwwwww i was so grossed out!@#?@!# so now the elementary has 4 and we have 3 it stinks!!!!! anyway the snow day we had the 16 was pointless! we got like a half a inch of snow a some ice and our boe (board of ed.) cancled.......i was so upset b/c my ss teach said we could hand in our big project on fri for e.c. and if we had a snow day you couldn't get e.c. even if you were ready for fri.!!!!! i was so pissed off at her i thought i would go and scream in her face.....finally i got that off my chest

Living on the coast makes all the snow turn to rain. That storm was SUPPOSED to hit the coast like directly, but of course, what happens? RAIN. urghhh.

It's 58° and rainy today in my neck of Penn's Woods... and of course the precipitation clears out just before the cold weather comes back!

I love snow days.. I remember my first one last year was the first week of December.. it was awesome

Lucky you. I never had snow in my city. Just ice, which is what we like to call snow. The weather men are calling for it to be raining and for it to get really cold tonight, so maybe it will "snow" and we'll get a delay. I don't really want a snow day because that just mean's I'll have to go for an extra day in April.

That happened a few years ago over here. However, we were out of school. We were out for like a week (and then had another snow storm the next week) but I was mad because Nova Scotia was out longer than us. They always get more snow.

We didn't get a snow day, it hardly even snowed today, and it's hardly even cold out. We will not have any storms for a while.
I'm jealous of you guys, generally we get it first xD

Our school is stupid about snow days. we haven't had snow here yet, but last year in november, I think, it snowed for like three days straight and we got close to 2 feet of snow and we still went to school. then in march of this year, we got maybe three inches one day and they canceled. It was almost gone by mid afternoon. then overnight it snowed another 2 or 3 inches and they canceled again!!! I was soooo mad. then we had to make them up at the end of the year.

so it was a hgh of 60 degrees in illinois in almost december today....i dont ever remember this happening, it snowed like 4 inches back in early october/end of september and now its almost december and warm............crazyyyy weather i tell yah...

I want a snow day so bad! In St. Louis, we were supposed to get at least 4 inches! WE GOT NOTHING! ICEY RAIN! THAT'S IT!! We are the ONLY school district in the aria thats STILL OPEN. Dumb school board..

^ That is something that would drive me nuts. Since kindergarten I haven't ever had a snow day! I think it would be so cool to wake up and find out at the last second that there is no school.

my high school district and my brothers school district have snow days! i havent had a snowday since the 3rd grade!!
