I agree! In NYC, the kids hardly ever get a snow day though. I hate traveling to work in the snow. We have that horrible gray slush that you always step in.

I love to watch snow falling, when it is on a weekend, and I don't have to go anywhere.

So jealous of getting a snow day. In my lifetime we've had ONE snow day here and that took 27 inches of snow. Enjoy your day "off" and know I am wishing it was happening here!

We got one last week for the first time in like 15 years. I have to admit I was happy not having to drive my daughter to school in the morning but I'm lucky and don't have to worry about childcare.

Now if only I had also got a snow day from work
