Don't count on it, EP--I don't think the universities in Boston have closed for a snow day since the April Fools blizzard in 1997. Set your alarm clock for your class!
We're at a level 2 snow emergency and the city itself has it's own snow emergency but the college still won't close for tomorrow yet. If they think anyone's actually going to go to class they're nuts! Even the kids on campus won't go in on a snow day... they'll be too busy doing other stuff like sleeping in
Oh, shut up, you miserable snow stealers. We got snow all day and now we are getting ice. Yuck. But as of right now, I still have school tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Though when I was a freshman we definitiely had a snow day or two. That was a brutal winter, I think it was 3 years ago. I still trecked out in the snow to the hockey game at Matthew's Arena, since the opposing team was already in the city and didn't have anything else to do
I'm not counting on a snow day. Besides, from what they're saying, it doesn't even look that bad for Boston.
We've got ice and snow here, more snow coming down now, but we're losing limbs on trees all over the place. Luckily our neighbor's car wasn't in the driveway under our tree when 2 large limbs fell.
DS already is on a 90-minute delay, but likely will be off altogether by morning. The temps are dropping and all this water will surely turn to solid ice.
DS had no school today, though there was no reason they couldn't have gone. The surrounding communities all had school and the roads were clear all day.
DS had off 2 days last week too. Our WDW trip is planned for the last day of school, in May. Now he's already missed 3 days of school. Of course, not a snow day in 2 years, until this year , thats our luck.
No school here either. Which is a good thing because we have 6-8ft snow drifts infront of our house. SO no one is getting out or in until I can try to dig out or call for help.
No snow day here on Long Island today, we have a 1 hour delayed opening but that is it. I am happy when they have no snow days off. once they start taking snow days it starts to come off our memorial day long weekend adn the easter recess. She would rather stay home and enjoy those breaks when the weather is nicer than stay home on a 15 degree day.
Schools are closed here today - now they're prediciting up to 3 feet before all is said and done.. Currently there is only about 3 inches out there - with the heaviest snow due to fall later today.. At this point they are even predicting the possibility of thunder and lightning at some point - weird!
It's a light fluffy snow, so of course there will be white-out conditions..
