Does anyone have experience with good snorkeling excursions in Grand Cayman for those who are seasick prone? Are there any excursion companies with larger boats? Are the waters relatively calm in Stingray City and the Grand Cayman area?
I have been on 2 cruises in the past. I never had a problem with motion sickness on the ship. But when we went on a glassbottom boat excursion in Key West I was green . When the boat was traveling I was fine, but when we stopped to view the ocean life I was miserable and it was a relatively calm sea day. I had used the wrist straps, Bonine and soda crackers all to no avail.
It appears that the excursion boats are similar to others that I have been on, and felt ill. I definitely want to do an excusion to Stingray City, possibly with Captin Marvins but I don't want to ruin my whole day. Plus, once you are on the excursion, you are stuck for the long haul.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you.
