snorkeling at typhoon lagoon

how wonderful is the snorkeling at typhoon lagoon? My boys can't wait to do it. This will be an experience for the whole family

It is fun. I did it for the first time last february and had a blast. I think the kids will love it! just look out for the sting rays when you first get in the tank. They like to sit right there....

It is wonderful, but it is quite controlled, and it is rather short. You are supposed to go one way only, not back and forth, and the CM are usually pretty strict about keeping to this plan. The water is quite cool, at least it felt that way to me.

But, you can get back in line as many times as you want, and the underwater fish are wonderful to see.

You may like snorkeling so much, you could find yourself on a Disney Cruise going on a snorkeling daytrip.

Sorry to disappoint you but don't have your expectations too high. We did the snorkeling a couple of years ago. It's in a large swimming pool and it was full of sea creatures. The bad part is that you are rushed through the pool. They force you to keep moving and it's all over rather quickly. I don't think I would do it again.

My DD, 6, panicked a little. She has used a mask in our pool but not used a snorkel. She got a little confused when she used the snorkel and sucked in some water.

I think that your family will love it. If you've never snorkeled before it's really great.
