Thiking of the snoring thread, the last time we were flying my SO was snoring on the plane, talk about embarrassing, I looked over and you see him with his mouth wide open! I wish I could have opened the window and thrown him out!! Anyone have a similar experience?

No, but I think that is why my dh won't sleep on the way to Disney.

Did you apply the elbow to the ribs technique? lol I have no stories of people snoring but some of the strangers I've had to sit beside on planes. Yikes! I can't even repeat here some of the things I've heard. :rotfl:

Myst

Before we had kids, DH went out with some friends after work for a few beers, well, actually it was more than a few. I was furious when he got home. To make it up to me, he said he would take me to see Titanic, which I had really wanted to see, but he had refused to go with me.

So we get in the packed theater and the movie starts. When the ship starts to sink, I hear this incredibly loud snore. I looked over to see DH slumped over to the side in his seat, mouth wide open, drool running down his chin, snoring. I was mortified - and he did not earn the brownie points he was after.

DH can fall asleep anywhere--particularly in a cramped airline seat. I've poked him in the ribs numerous times when the snoring begins! :teeth: He was really bad on our last trans-atlantic flight.

It was probably my mom & dad-They sleep sitting up all the time and they both snore!!

You should have casually dropped some of those peanuts the airliners give you into his wide open mouth. That would have done the trick. :teeth:
