Hopefully you are done with all your responsibilities with her, paying hotel, returning crate, etc...moving forward I would not engage with her while there again. I wouldn't speak about it to others and just focus on your daughter. Try to be positive in front of her. Tell her sometimes expectations and reality collide and you deal with it and move on. I know it's tough but try to put a spring in your step and enjoy your final moments there. Good luck!!!

OP, I know exactly what you are going through. Specifics are a little different but the behavior is the same. I understand that you are scared. It is scary.
If this person is anything like the one I dealt with, she will cross paths with you in th near future and act like nothing happened. Don't forget her true colors. And don't believe the bad stuff she says about you.
I had a hard time with that.
Please PM me if you need someone to talk to. I know this sounds crazy but if you need to call me so you are talking to someone when you pass by her, let me know.
I have been there!!

Sorry you and DD had to deal with that. As far as all the snoring spouses on this thread have them checked for sleep apnea if gone untreated it can cause other health issues.

I would not have paid a single cent towards the previously shared room once I'd been forced to move out due to her snoring. Doubly so after the insane way she behaved afterwards. That's just rewarding bad behaviour.

That's exactly what my husband said. I'm really not one to back down usually. I grew up in a tough area and learned early how to take care of myself.
But her behavior was down right scary. Her face, voice and behavior was just unbelievable. I was ready. I literally thought she was going to punch me.

I grew up , unlike others and at my age I'm not going to stoop to her level.
I wanted to do anything I could to be rid of her.
Broke my heart sitting here at the hotel a bit ago when DD said mom I'm scared we may see her again.
I just thank goodness DD wasn't with me in the parking lot when friend lost it.

Sorry you and your daughter had your trip ruined by her. I think at this point, I'd not be referring to her as "friend" anymore.

Well, I'd say that your now-former-friend is a few sandwiches shy of a picnic. Total nut job. Crazy. Stay away from the cray cray! And a huge lesson learned...don't share a room with a friend ever again. Some friends just do not make good travel companions and this woman falls in that category.

If you haven't seen the movie, you should rent "Dog Show" on Netflix, Hulu, or Vudu or something. It's hilarious and it full of neurotic dog show people who flip out a lot like your crazy former friend did.

Are you referring to the movie "Best in Show"? Truly hilarious. Where's the bee??? LOL

I was thinking the same thing, lol. Some "dog people" are a little nuts.

This "friend" has some serious mental issues. She is diagnosable. Seriously.

Keep your distance.

I probably would have paid just to not deal with her again as well.

Hugs.

Friend accused me of lying , she doesn't snore, the dogs were fine. I'm doing it to get out of paying . I BETTER give her the money I owe her and my behavior is ridiculous.

Update number 2:

I borrowed a crate of hers for the show. When DD and I were done packing up I texted friend and asked her what to do with the crate
She came over and I just carried it to her van. Half way there she started calling me every name you could think of.
Blaming the whole thing on me and my dog because I was lying about her snoring.
After the C word came out I said I was done
I put the crate by her van and walked away. She ran after me again yelling obscenities and then pulled my shirt twice.
Where's my money?
Where's my money?
You are a rich ...... U can afford it.

This lady would not be getting a dime from me. She can pick up a paper route to pay off her hotel. She could scrub the bathrooms there. Or get arrested for non-payment. I don't care. I would not give her any money.

And, obviously never even look at her again.

I had this problem when traveling with BFF. I am a very light sleeper. I threw pillows at her. Didn't work.
After a miserable 2 week trip, I canceled our upcoming cruise.
It almost broke up our friendship. We have been friends for 35 years, so I didn't want to give up and neither did she.
We book separate room/cabins now. I love having my own space.
She is retired now, so we have to see how finances are, but I don't think I can risk going back.
At WDW we get a 1 bedroom.

wow-Rolie-what a mess
and you wanted a fun time with your DD, and instead have this NUT!
((hugs))

My guess a CPAP machine covered by insurance is a lot cheaper than a single cabin on a Disney cruise LOL. I sleep like a baby now that my DH has a CPAP machine. Since she's your BFF please encourage her to take a sleep study. My DH wakes refreshed and ready to go now.
