*Sniff* My Grandma..

was just taken to the hospital and she is VERY sick and very weak! I was crying and i never cry! She has the flu and a bunch of other things along with a broken hip and sternum! I am scared she won't live much longer but she means the world to me!!! Please send prayers and pixie dust!! I am in need. She is in the middle of making me another quilt (her passion is sewing) and i am also scared she will never finish it! She knows she is getting older (80) and she doesn't deserve to die, but she told me that last quilt she is making me wll be passed down to my family. Omg I am starting to cry while I type this.My granpa's last sister died two days ago and he can't afford to lose his beloved wife and sister he is torn up too. Please again send prayers and pixie dust.

I am not trying to be greedy..but my grandma's quilts would be all i have left of her! I am not a very greedy person first of all and I want her to finish it b/c i want my children to have some of her too.

I don't think that's greedy; I understand how you feel about that. But even if she doesn't get a chance to finish it, at least you have pictures and memories of her, like Rachel said.

yah but i know everyone here (if they knew/know their grandma) that they mean the world to them and it is like a lot of my family has been sick and dying and it just hurts..she doesnt have anything too serious but she will stay in the hospital for a couple of days. Watching the EMS carry her out her house in a stretcher with her cringing in pain..hurts me just as much..me and my grandma are really close! she is THE sweetest person in the world and she wouldnt hurt a fly...she does not deserve it u know?..i am glad she is getting better im soo relieved!

I'm sorry to hear your Gma is sick. I'm praying that she gets better and has more time to be with you & your family.

If she is unable to finish the quilt for some reason maybe you can learn to sew someday and finish it. Then it will be extra special, because you AND your grandma made it.

I'll also pray that God gives you strength, to handle whatever comes.

I hope you know how lucky you are to have such a wonderful Gma. And she sure is lucky to have you!!
