*Sniff* Characters Question... parents help!

My 8 year old thinks they real!

Character meals are 1 of my favorite things to do there!

We visited Sesame Place yesterday and during the character parade DS3 (almost 4) says "Mommy there are people in there, right?" I said "I don't know" he smiled and said "Yes, they are just people in there". Regardless, he was still excited when I told him to stick his hand out and have Telly and Baby Bear give him a hi-5! They will "forget" they are people. Go to the meal!

Thanks all! I am definately gonna 'do the meal'! Hehe.

NOw I just have to narrow it down. I will do a princess meal, since DD4 loves the princesses and just have to decide on the other. (I figure a breakfast and then a lunch or dinner would be enough since we are planning a short visit.)

No Pooh, since she has given her younger sister all of her Pooh stuff and gets upset if it reappears in her room... so that is one gone, lol.

The character lunch at the Land is great. It was our favorite.

I am glad you said that! We love the Land ride, that was always our favorite place in Epcot, at least before the renovations.

Thank you!

Funny you mentioned your daughter being logical. DD is SO logical it makes us shake our heads. We will hold up a stuffed animal or doll and make a funny voice, or ask if her dolly wants something and she will look at us like we have grown a second head and say: Mooom, she is just pretend! She is not real!

Lol.

She has just never really been a fanciful kid. She loves to discover how things work and what everything is all about. We joke that she will be a scientist some day.

LOL - Sounds like our DD's are the same! She use to love the Wizard of OZ when she was younger but she would tell anyone watching it that it was just a movie and movie set to entertain people -LOL - While her older DS thought that there was really an OZ and Emerald City. She can come up with some things - that just makes DH and I shake our heads sometimes - DH and I just look at each other and say "Where did that come from "

OMG, I know what you mean! DH and I are always looking at each other saying: Did you tell her that?? She comes up with things and you just cannot figure out how she knows, as a 3 year old should NOT know that! Most of the time when we ask where she learned something, she will just shrug and say: I dunno. I just know. LOL.
