Snapfish, Shutterfly or ??

We just returned from a 3 week trip to Hawaii and we took a ton of pictures. I'd like to use Snapfish, Shutterfly or any other recommended online photo processing company and haven't really done this before. I have a few questions
- Do you prefer one company over another?
- I'd like to do a photobook also and Snapfish has an Aloha design. Do you know of any others?
- I found some discount codes (only looked for Snapfish) - can you stack them? Or do you place separate orders?
- How long does it usually take to receive your photos? How is the quality?

Any other info you have is much appreciated. TIA

I went through Shutterfly last week because I needed pictures fast and wanted to pick them up at Target. Included in my envelope was a 50% off code for a photobook. It may be worth it to print a few pictures to get the 50% off coupon.

Okay, as for pictures themselves, I just had some done through Snapfish and Shutterfly. I was very disappointed with Snapfish. They were not a good quality, the colors were off, and some were pixly. The same at Shutterfly were fine... I'd go with them. I also ordered stuff from Walmart online, they'll ship it free to your house (you can also do pick up at the store, but I think you can't get glossy through store pick up, at least not in my area). Those pictures were also very nice and MUCH cheaper... I paid like .58 cents for a 5x7 vs at least twice as much elsewhere.

As for the photobooks, I would say the same, Snapfish isn't as impressive, Shutterfly is great. Artscow.com has a lot more choices, much cheaper and a nice quality, but shipping takes longer, up to a month I've found.

I think you are going to get a variety of answers. I use Snapfish the most because I think their quality is great and the prices for print and shipping is cheaper than Shutterfly. I just ordered prints through Shutterfly because I had some free credits and they were fine also. There wasn't any difference between the two services besides the price with snapfish being cheaper. Snapfish also has a lot more stores to send the pictures to if you need them faster but then you are paying whatever that store charges so the pre-paying won't get you anything but then you aren't paying shipping whereas Shutterfly only will print at Target.

When you order directly from Snapfish and not send them to the store you should have your photos in 3-5 business days.

I haven't done a photobook through Shutterfly so I can't comment on that. I have done quite a few photobooks through Snapfish and haven't had any problems. I like how you can mix and match themes according to each page so you don't have to have the same theme throughout the whole book. I have made calendars for the past 3 years through them and they are excellent. I love my snapfish!

I generally prefer snapfish. Quality between snap and shutter is similar, but customer service is awesome at snapfish. I have not had a great experience with shutterfly's customer service. Some things can stack, others can't. Sorry I'm not more helpful there.

Shutterfly has a deal right now that if you buy a photo-book you can get up to 100 free prints (I think you have to do a 12x12 photo book to get that many prints). I just happened to notice that this morning.

And usually shutterfly has free shipping over a certain amount and most online photo places will give you a certain number of prints free when you sign up.

I've made several books from Shutterfly (obviously I like them so I keep going back). I did recently try out Snapfish for prints and was quite happy with the quality.

To be honest... I have used both Snapfish and Walmart in the last two weeks. I had a coupon for Snapfish so I used them. Walmart has a deal for .09 4 x 6 prints until the end of this month. They do have free shipping to your home. If you chose the pick up at store option, you do not get the sale price. After checking other sites with lower print prices, by the time you added the freight, Walmart was the best deal for me. We took close to 1,000 pictures, so I also needed the best price! I will also say that I have always really liked the quality of Walmart's pictures. I did not have a problem with the quality of the Snapfish pictures either.

I have yet to order a photobook yet, so I can not comment on their quality. Good luck and I hope you had a great vacation.

I like Snapfish also. I have done calendars, books, keychain, and prints and had no problems. They usually have some sort of offer, especially around the holidays.

I also use Wal-Mart. They use the same software as Snapfish, so making the books, etc. is exactly the same. Wal-mart usually is cheaper, unless you have an offer from Snapfish. I also don't like to pay shipping and Wal-Mart offers free Site to Store shipping and we are there often enough that it works fine for us.

I vote for shutterfly-i order matte prints and snapfish didnt have them last time I tried to order from them. I vote for Costco as the best color/price for prints. Always check retailmenot for discount codes before you order from either website, their will always be some kind of sale

Sams Club, and if not, WalMart. At least for us, they use Fuji machines and print on matte paper, which I prefer to glossy.

Or any other place that uses Fuji. I've tried Kodak and did not like them as much.

Upload the pictures online, and pick up in an hour (or two - depending on the amount of pictures you have). Rates are about 16-18 cents a print.

Only time I've used shutterfly or snapfish is when I have a coupon like 50 free prints. But even then shipping makes the per-print price to be about 10cents.

There's see-here by Fuji, which wasn't bad either.

About photo books, only time we've done them was with Photoworks during last xmas when they were free. They came out pretty good...

I have used snapfish, sams, walmart, and all of them have good quality. Snapfish is my preffered because I can get free prints and photobooks with my mycokerewards.com points. I usually use walmart if I am in a hurry or don't have a free shipping code.

I've used both, and I prefer Shutterfly. I've ordered prints, books, Christmas cards, mugs...the works. As I recall, I would pick Walmart over Snapfish.

I am a big fan of walmart.com (NOT 1 hour) and snapfish. I've never had any complaints and have used both for years. I usually go with whoever has the best deal. I have never used Shutterfly.

I recently had pictures done through Snapfish too...A LOT OF PICTURES and the colors were ALL WRONG. I was able to get a refund and they didn't make me return the pictures. I had used them many years ago with no issues. However now I just go through Kodak and use coupons when those come out.

mpix is by far the best place I've found to order pictures from. The quality is AMAZING! Just recently they had a sale on 8x10s for $1. I wish I had ordered more. Right now they are running a 15% off sale, which isn't bad.

The quality is much better than snapfish or shutterfly.

Ditto on Mpix.com. Adoramapix.com is very good as well. Both of those places cater mainly to professional photographers, so the quality of the printing and the paper is far superior to Snapfish, Shutterfly, Walmart, drug stores, etc.

I use shutterfly all the time, also walgreens....google for coupons, they often will offer you many FREE just for stopping and signing up on their site...
