snakes on jungle cruise?

Ok, I know this is INSANE, but I haven't been on it since I was maybe 8, so I don't remember. I know that the animals are FAKE. I know it in my mind, but my body has a way of FREAKING out at snakes, fake or not.

Snakes seem to be a big thing in the jungle (at least as I imagine a jungle) so are there snakes as part of the ride? Like there are snakes in the water?

There is a big python that will be close to you if you sit on the left side of the boat. There are also some when you go in the cave a la the Indiana Jones scene in the GMR. But none are actually in the water.

I know this is nutz but I just can't handle it, so I will skip the GMR, and sit on the right side of the boat on the jungle cruise

Thank you for helping me avert passing out. (And yes, I have been known to do just that-I was in 9th grade and we had a small snake brought into class- it was in a case and I passed out when I saw it!) I'm nutz!

The 1 snake in the JC is so large you can tell it is fake. My dad did fine on JC & I have seen my dad walk on water before when he saw a snake on a canoe trip.

I'm the same way. I don't even like pictures of snakes in magazines or books. I had a panic attack at the zoo once and at a home show (not sure what a boa had to do with home decor, but what do I know?). The Jungle Cruise snake has never bothered me. The buckets of rubber snakes for sale give me the creeps though....... I just keep wondering what would happen if a real one crawled in and joined them.......

Not sure but the be OP might want to skip Honey I shrunk the audience too at EPCOT. Definitely the great movie ride is a no go. Those are the most real looking snakes ever. (I always think, would anyone even know if a real one got in??). As for real ones, I've seen a real snake when leaving Alien encounter (now stitch ride), at the villa pool at WL, in the pond at the WL, on the bench in Morocco while watching MoRockin at EPCOT, and one crossed right in front of us going to Trails End at Fort Wilderness, and a few at the AK, but that was probably their home (I've seen them inside containers and outside in the brush).
