Snake! in my pool

We were wondering how long it would take to find a snake in our pool. Well we did tonight. Just a juvenile garter snake.

Oh my! I need to put my glasses on. I scanned your thread title quickly and thought the last character was an exclamation mark, not an "l". Snake in my pool wouldn't freak me out...but a snake in the other place that I THOUGHT you said...now that would have been a shocker

No Pics. He was tiny little thing. Only about a foot long and about as wide as a pencil.

We have seen a larger black snake (2 1/2 feet long) around our house and we are just hoping he doesn't find his way into the pool.
