Snagged BOTH Wishes and Illuminations Cruises!

Called at 6 am central time Thursday--got through to find out I was a day ahead. Do you mean I have to go through this again tomorrow???

Called again yesterday (Friday) while on the way to work. I know, early, but I am used to it. I think I have another 20 or so years left to go...

Well, I got it! I booked Wishes cruise w/audio yesterday while driving to work. Can you imagine how crazy I was driving @ 70 mph booking the cruise? I know that it is easier to get than Illuminations, but I think this one will be the most special to the kids. Actually, the CM yesterday made a mistake and I think originally had me as the Illuminations cruise because he started quoting leaving from Y&B marina--NO!!!!!!!!!! That one is going to be for the next day, I thought. Still snagged Wishes--great!

This morning, set the alarm because it is Saturday. Good thing I never sleep in! Started dialing and got through. CM was good and said, "Just reserved LAST one for you! Let's get some more information!!!" What a pro!

Family does not know about Illuminations cruise. They think the only time we are going to get a good seat for the show is when we eat @ R&C on Monday of trip. Ha! Wait until we get done with our Norway princess meal on Friday with daughter Belle costume and I tell them that we need to be back at BC by 8 pm for a surprise! My parents are going to flip!

Yay for you! I just got an Illuminations one yesterday and now have to try for a wishes one tomorrow for my son's birthday. Wish me luck. I called a day early for the first one too, but I am in Australia, so I figure it's excusable!

Good luck on the Wishes--I read somewhere that it is easier to get because there are more boats.

As for my excuse--none--just crazy!

How much do the both of those cost if you don't mind my asking. Its something I'd like to look into for next years trip since its probably already too late for this September

Madfelice--Congrats! I know your son will be so excited for his birthday.

As for the cost, I believe that it is around $275+tax+tip. I have looked at so many different things, so I may be off by a buck or two. My head is swimming right now.....

I do know that you put a credit card for guarantee and you pay the night of the cruise whichever sort of payment you prefer--cash, credit card, etc. Since the trip is already paid for as of now and my parents will be paying for most of my kids' souvenirs, my budget should be ok. At least that is what I tell DH to rationalize the splurge!
