snacks throughout the day?

never cruised before...is food available all day? like if you miss a meal, or if you just want a snack...what kind of food and snacks are available in between meals?
just thinking of dole whips, mickey bars, soft pretzels, cookies, beaver tails, etc at the parks...the list is endless...

I think there is always something available. You can also get room service 24 hours a day. One thing you won't be missing is food!! The Navigators have listings each day of what food stations are open when -- easy to find something to graze on.

There is food everywhere all the time! There is Scoops on deck 9, Pluto's right at the kiddie pool, hot dogs, fries, chix tenders, burgers, etc. There is Pinnochios pizza which has great pizza at the family pool.. There is not a shortage of food at any time!

On www.castawayclub.com and on Dave from Marietta's site, they have pretty good listings of food that's available, including room service menus.

Scoops serves soft serve ice cream (cone or dish) with toppings as well as fresh fruit and cookies. They also have a variety of wraps there.

The pizza place is open nearly all the time, and Plutos serves typical fast food like burgers, chicken strips, etc. I can't think of anyplace you could get soft pretzels though. Closest chip type thing I can think of is the chips from room service that come with the sandwiches. You can buy some salty snacks outside the theater at show time. They had bagged popcorn, and I think they had pretzels, as well as candy. Those were the only food items for snacks that weren't included in the price of the cruise.

We just returned from the 1/24 eastern and I was glad that I packed some snacks and that my kids had snacks in their gift baskets from Shirley. The things I packed were peanut butter sandwich crackers, pretzels, chex mix and fruit roll-ups. We'd take these on excursions and the kids gobbled them up. When we ran out, we brought along cereal boxes from Topsiders buffet. My kids are better snackers than they are dinner eaters
