Snacks in the parks??

I posted on the Disney Park board about taking snacks in and was wondering if the same rules are at US/IOA. Are you allowed to take snacks in? Also, is it a pain to carry a backpak on the rides? Thanks!!!!

Yes you can take snacks into the parks. My DH carriers a backpack all the time. He doesnt find it a problem carring them on the rides.
