Snacks in Shows?

We have young kids but plan on going to the Hall of Presidents and Carousel of Progress. Anybody know if you can enjoy a snack during the show? It would help keep them happy while beating the heat.

Thanks!

I would assume they do not want you eating or drinking in the shows (or on rides). But are we talking something like cheerio's/goldfish or a turkey leg or an ice cream cone?

Hall of Presidents is kind of nice and quiet. A snack might not work well. Carousel of Progress is kind of nice. I don't think either actually allow food or drink, but water bottles are allowed in.

In March, we actually saw a guy eating a turkey leg in the Dinosaur line. I think he finished it before boarding the vehicle though. It was weird. I don't remember seeing people eat inside most of the rides, including the ride line. However, I see people eating in some of the longer outdoor lines at Universal, like Gringott's and Forbidden Journey.

Hall of presidents and carousel of progress I'm 99% sure don't allow open drinks or food inside. So no eating while in there.

Good deal. Honestly, I prefer that as it will cut down on the sticky seat factor!

Thanks for the info!

Both are inside so, no there is no food or opened drinks allowed inside. Water bottles are fine since they have a top that completely closes. You won't have to beat the heat since both are inside but they can eat and drink while in the queue but all must be put away once they enter the theatre (s). There will be trash cans at the entrance so you can dispose of the trash if needed.

We were allowed to eat/drink in lines last week provided we threw it out or put the cap on it before actually getting on the ride. There were specific instructions no food or drink inside both Hall of Presidents and Carousel of Progress. I'm happy that rule exists as both shows are very quiet and a slurping or crunching noise would be pretty distracting I would think. We were allowed to take drinks that had caps in in our bags, but they had to be in our bags. No drinks with straws, etc, like a fountain drink.
