We are debating on getting the Disney Dining Plan, or the Deluxe Plan and we are staying at the Poly for 2 nights. Are there a lot of snacks and CS options? Is the CS better than the MK?

Well, that's an interesting question. There are official/published snacks, and then there are additional items considered snacks - the latter very likely varies by location, especially given that not every location offers the same items, period.

The Polynesian has one counter service location; the Magic Kingdom has at least a half dozen - so while quality (which is subjective) might be better at Captain Cook's, selection is better at MK.

We really enjoyed Captain Cook's - for 2 nights it should be more than adequate for both CS and snacks. They had plenty of snack options in 2007, and 2008 reports are showing that so far most are still snacks. That includes anything in their pastry case! Tons of ice cream novelty options. Also, I haven't seen it confirmed for 2008 yet, but they have a Dole Whip machine, that was a snack in 2007. Hoping it's still included, as the Dole Whips in the MK still are!

For breakfast, you might also be able to use QS at the coffee stand outside Kona (not kona Cafe itself of course which is TS). I know some years back when we were on the Gold plan, I was able to do so. The CM who was working there wasn't familiar with the Gold plan and was aghast that I was using our plan to buy breakfast for one of my kids there.:goodvibes But it fit our needs that am.

They should be, as a Dole Whip is a single serving item.
