I sort of tried this during my last visit but i never made it past my first plate of nachos and Margarita. (does anyone NOT think those things are ridiculously HUGE..and strong?!) I think this time I'm going to start in Canada/UK and make my way around that way. I already know Im getting a pastry and wine in france, wine in germany, gelato in italy, a margarita *maybe* in mexico...any other good things to try? I'm a huge wine drinker and my boyfriend drinks/eats just about anything! Thanks!! :bitelip:

We love to eat our way around World Showcase :rotfl: Have you tried the CS fish and chips in the UK. We get a couple of these to snack on while sitting by the water. In Japan, you can get yummy egg rolls and rice, sit in the gardens, very relaxing. As you mentioned, margarita's, my DH and me say we will share one, but it always turns into two :woohoo: Our daughters make fun of us because we become very happy ;) We always end an Epcot evening with dessert in France. We will get 4 or 5 different things and share at one of the tables :grouphug: We have been several times and still not tried everything! We try to have something new each visit :thumbsup2

Sushi in Japan for me.
In France, my favorite pastry is the Pralineige - Outstanding.
In Morocco, I must have Tabbouleh

The pub at the Rose and Crown has a beer sampler with 4 or 5 small samples of beer. Always fun to share and doesn't get you too tanked up too soon :)

The bakery in Norway has a great treat called School Bread. Sadly, they've stopped serving Ringeness beer, which used to be one of our favorites.

The TS in Japan (Yakitori House) is always good for a quick bite and is a nice location.

The Kringla Bakery in Norway does divine open sandwiches eitehr smoked salmon and scrambled egg or turkey, this is nicely washed down with a beer :) Also fish and Chips in the UK with a pint of Stella (more commonly known here as 'a pint of wife beater') is fab on a warm summers evening :teeth:

Claire ;)

In Germany you could get a pretzel at the pretzel and beer stand. In China last time, I got the child's meal-one egg roll and some rice, I think it was, at Lotus Blossum Cafe.

I love the Tangierine Cocktail from the coffee bar in back of the Moraccan CS restaurant. I forget what all is in it but it's delish & comes in a cute glass!

I think this time I am going to try the School Bread in Norway that everyone raves about. I always like to get a pretzel in Germany and wine in Italy

On our tri in June my Husband and I tried to drink our way around the world but I think we started to late! We had dinner in the Teppenyaki dining rooms and had a cocktail each, then I had a glass of wine and Matt had a Japanese beer. After dinner we had Crepes in france with Champagne for me and a stella for Matt. We walked on to the UK and Matt had half a yard of lager and I had a Pimms and Lemonade, Very british of me! And we finished up in Mexico with a frozen Margarita watching Illuminations feeling a little tipsy! I think we will have to start earlier on the next trip and pace ourselves to achieve the goal!

DH and DS8 have to get a warm cinnamon bun from the Norway Bakery (can someone please tell me what School Bread is, haven't seen that before). I like a flute of champagne in France. DH and I love the fish and chips in UK - eaten while we watch British Invasion. We used to like the takeout food in China but they've changed it and it's not so good anymore. :( Loved trying the appetizer samplers from various countries during Food and Wine. Two things we did not like too much were Sake (rice wine) from Japan (tasted like rubbing alcohol) and espresso was a little too strong for DH. :p Thanks for giving us some other ideas for our next trip. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the great ideas! And I agree, Sake does taste a little too close to rubbing alcohol (never tried rubbing alcohol btw but it smells close! ;) ) Thanks for all the pictures squeakymouse....those pastries look soo good ill definitely be hitting up the Norweigan Bakery!
