Can I use snack credits for beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter? What about rice crispie treats in the parks? Are the pastries at Boulangerie considered snack credits?

They'll have the little snack credit symbol if you can. But we've used it for croissants and such. A CM said t's usually stuff under $4.00.

At the Boulangerie most folks indulge in snack credits for the pastries. We had the opposite problem in that we want to use CS for a lunch. We were able to order, including pastry for desert.

I was at Boulangerie last year. I personally was not on the dining plan. The group in front of me was. They picked pastries from the cases and walked down to the cashier, who told them you couldn't get pastries for snack credits. The group walked out and left the pastries, which were then put back in the case.

I would ask before trying to get Boulangerie pastries with snack credits.

As for the other stuff, reports from the field seem to indicate that in 2008 a snack credit must be used for a single-serving size item. A rice krispie treat would probably qualify. I don't know about the beignets; if they're sold in servings meant for one person, perhaps.

The pastries in France were never allowed as a snack credit only CS (2 items + a drink). Beignets at POR used to be allowed as a snack credit but we do not know for 2008. I would guess yes to rice krispie treats as we have had confirmed feedback that they were allowed at a few locations.

Yes, as far as I know, you can't use snack credits for the pastries in france. I think its the same thing at Sunshine seasons in the land at epcot. I know a few places like boardwalk bakery accept snack credits.

In 2007, we could not use the snacks for pastries in France; however, we did get pastries for snack credits at the food court in the Land pavillion and at the bakery in Norway. I'm not sure if this has been changed for 2008, though.

Do you know if the 2 items for cs can be both sweet? or do they have to be a sandwich and pastry? I would def. use a cs credit for the sweets there!:thumbsup2

On a related note - any word on pastries at Poly's Captain Cooks for the 2009 plan? As snack credits I mean.
