So my family DH, son 5, Daughter 7, and myself, were thinking about doing something like getting a small snack in each of the countries in Epcot WS. Something small and maybe cheap (ha!) but from that country. Looking for some suggestions - oh and here is the catch - not all desserts, and some of them are picky eaters!

Mexico- churritos or nachos, depending on whether you want sweet or salty first
Norway- school bread might be too heavy for what you're going for, so I reccommend the troll horn/cloudberry horn. It's the same pastry but sometimes it has different names. I think it's permanently called the troll horn now.
China- egg rolls or potstickers
Germany- caramel corn
Italy- they sell little chocolates in the store like Baccis. I'd say a cannoli, but with a 5 and 7 year old, I don't want to be too heavy
American Adventure- I actually reccommend skipping the American adventure unless you want to split a funnel cake. Not much to eat there.
Japan- if you go to the food section of the store in Japan, there's a little bag of chips called "shrimp chips". They sound so gross, but they're so good! It was a ton of fun trying them for the first time. Or refresh yourself with a bottle of "marble soda".
Morocco- split a baklava
France- a pastry from the bakery or an ice cream macaroon

Unfortunately, everything goes downhill after France. You can get British and Canadian candy in their respective stores, I think, but there's not much besides that.

Good luck!

I did this I believe in 2007. I don't remember what we ate but my suggestions include"
Mexico- Nachos or the Chips with dip
Norway- Any of the pastries
China- Potstickers or egg rolls. Or there might be snacks and candy in the store
Germany- You could get anything at Karamell-Kuche or try a Brat
Italy- Gelato, meatball sliders or Nutella chocolate cake
American Adventure- Mickey pretzel, funnel cake, dessert in Liberty Inn
Japan- Any of the snacks in the store, the shaved ice or Edamame
Morocco- Ice cream, Baklava, or Couscous
France- Any of the pastries, baguette or crepes
United Kingdom- Fish and Chips
Canada- Le Cellier is the only restaurant in Canada so maybe some candy or a snack from the shops there

You can try to time the eating around the world with lunch and dinner so you can eat both in World Showcase and split a meal in one of the restaurants so everything isn't a dessert. If you are planning on doing two days in Epcot or park hopping to Epcot in the afternoon I would say do some one day then the rest the next.
