Book a ride through Uber. This is how my friends and I get home when we fly into SNA.

Yeah i totally agree with this! Search online for a first ride coupon code and you will get your ride up to $30 i think free. I used it last time to come from my hotel back to the airport and it was great and super easy. The driver was out in front of my hotel in less than 10 mins!

I did this once. As we were paying for the Shuttle via credit card, I slipped him a $10 and asked if he could drop us off first. It worked. We were staying at one of the hotels right across from the entrance so I think that helped.

Download the Uber app to your smart phone. Once you have arrived at SNA airport use the app to request a car. I use it all the time in SF and just did in Pittsburgh were the taxis are few and unfriendly. Uber was a great solution

Once you book your ride, it shows you a picture of the driver and tells you what type of car to look for. It will notify you when your driver is a few minutes away and again when your driver arrives.

My BIL uses it all the time in CA. DH is gonna use it to get from DL to SNA as he has to leave earlier than DD and I. I found a $30 coupon thru the United airlines app. It's got a link in the app to use uber.

What is the name of this shuttle? Do I need to pre-pay for this? My mom will be flying into SNA a few days into our trip to meet up with us and this sounds like a great option for her.

This is for any of the many shuttles that are lined up and waiting to go. It's $11 per person to any of the hotels near the resort. The ride is about 20 minutes, but you may, or may not, have to wait a few minutes for your van to fill. You can call ahead for reservations if you want, but there really is no need with just one person. Just tell her to follow the signs to the shuttle area when she exits the airport, and they'll put her on a van.
