Hello!

We are flying into John Wayne Airport and staying at the Disneyland Hotel. This is our first Disneyland trip so we are a little out of our element (we are die-hard Disney World folks). It seems that the transportation options from the airport are Super Shuttle or the bus line.

We will have my husband's wheelchair (he isn't able to transfer out), my toddler and his car seat and my 7 year old (who requires a booster chair if we take a car/van type vehicle).

I have heard that the bus line is not nearly as seamless as the Magical Express in WDW. Is that true?

What do you guys suggest based on past experience?

Super Shuttle does have wheelchair accessible vehicles. I don't know if that makes a difference for you. I haven't traveled with my powerchair yet, but I know several powerchair users who travel very frequently and always use Super Shuttle where it's available.

I was just in Anaheim this month and I used Super Shuttle both ways. When you make a reservation online, there is a block to check that indicates that an accessible vehicle is needed.

After I was done with baggage claim and went to the shuttle area, they had a lift van waiting for me. After I was boarded they let others on to fill it. Similarly on departure there were already a couple of people on board, and after I was loaded they did make another stop to pick up more people.

The service was very good in both directions.
