Hi Friends:

Smores at 50's Prime Time Cafe and at Le Cellier at the Canada pavilion at EPCOT.

If you have enjoyed at each, please compare.

Thanks in advance,
FunFamily

i'm sorry i havent, but i have often read that they were not that good at le cellier, but always hear they are good (tho now have the size they used to be) at 50's pt.

they also dont look like smores at le cellier lol..its very wierd, the marshmellow is covered in sprinkles and cold....the smores at 50s are just like you would get at a campfire but openfaced.

The 'smores' at LeCellier are... different. The food picture thread has some pictures of them. My son got one (because it really is a smore, rather than smores) and liked it, but it's not the traditional chocolate between a grahm cracker and a marshmallow. And it's really small. People complain about the smaller size of the smores at prime-time now, but it's still a lot bigger than LeCellier's.

I've only had smores at PT, but they were really good. I didn't know the portions got smaller, but personally I think that's the perfect size, they are so sweet! I could never finish the whole thing! Yummy

Le Cellier's is on the kid's menu ;)
PT is great....and your "relative" feeds you the first bite :rotfl:
It is smaller ?? Wow....it is 10 marshmallows worth. Filled the 2 of us plenty :) So yummy!!

People were saying it's only 1/2 the plate full instead of a full plate. Another example of why the DDP is destroying WDW, blah, blah, blah. The 'smaller' portion looked pretty big to me, but what do I know? :confused3

This is true, we ate at 50's PT a couple of weeks ago and they have "downsized" the size of their s'mores. It used to be a full plateful and is now 1/2 a plateful, but still plenty to fill you upl However, these were still better than the s'more dessert at Le Cellier. Their's is on a stick with sprinkles. DS didn't care for it much so I grabbed a taste. It wasn't very good. However, the s'mores at 50's PT are yummy....very sweet...but yummy!

It sure is true. Unfortunately is took a direct hit because of the DDP. The CMs have told us that they halved the size because of the wasteful DDPs who were each ordering one when it should have been shared. So for those of us that actually pay OOP we get stuck with a half serving but at the same cost.

Have only had this treat at 50's PT and we thought they were fun and very tasty! We split it amongst our family of 5 and thought there was plenty.
