smoking question about suites???

Are all the suites at WDW smoking opitional? We would like to possibly stay in suite but if they are all smoking optional than that would be possible. DS has astham and I am allergic to smoke.

No suites are just like all other rooms. WDW resorts have certain buildings and/or wings of the hotel that are smoking optional (smoking rooms are all kept together so the smell does not seep through to the non smoking areas.) Only the suites that happen to be in those areas are smoking... For example at OKW bldgs 12,19 and 41 are smoking, all other buildings are non smoking... only the suites in those three buildings would be smoking optional.

All one bedroom suites at AKL are non smoking. Two bedroom are a mix of smoking and non depending on the area.

Polynesian suites are a mix:

1 bedroom Princess suite is non-smoking
2 bedroom Princess suite is smoking optional
Ambassador suites are smoking optional
King Kamehameha suite is non-smoking
I am not sure what the one room suite is in the Tonga longhouse but it is a standard size room and is used to add a room to the King Kamehameha suite so my guess is it is non-smoking.


Our one bedroom suite at AKL was non-smoking.
