smoking outside Cali Grill?

I love a good cigar and a glass of red wine. Does anyone know if smoking is allowed on the observation deck outside the California Grill?

During Wishes it can be quite close quarters. I can see a lot of people having a problem with you smoking a cigar when everyone is cramped together.

I have been with people who have excused themselves from the table and gone to the observation deck to smoke. Not sure if there are any rules concerning this area, but it is outside. I cannot remember if there were ashtrays there or not.....since I gave up smoking years ago, I do not notice the designated smoking areas.....What I am saying is I am not sure if this is one of those designated smoking areas.....maybe you could call the restaurant and ask...

There is an ashtray at the doors as you go out, so obviously it is a designated area. I have stepped outside for a smoke myself. However, I wouldn't advise it during Wishes. It's gets pretty crowded out there at that time.

There are also at least two other observation decks up there (probably a fourth). One is near the "wine room" and the other is back near the restrooms. I agree I wouldn't smoke out there during Wishes but either of those are probably usually deserted the rest of the evening as they are not so obvious.

My husband enjoys a cigar and wine as well. If it is allowed, he might do that someday as well.
