Smoking Building at SSR?

When booking a room for my sister and bro-in-law, we asked for a smoking room, as they both smoke (still encouraging her to quit). Anyway, we were told that at SSR there is a designated building, but my brother who did the booking did not ask which. I'm thinking maybe one of the older buildings but that's just a guess. Does anyone know for sure? Also she asked about designated smoking areas arouond the resort, if anyone knows, I'd appreciate the info.

If you're standing at the Congress Park bus stop looking toward Downtown Disney, I believe the smoking building is the one on the far right. That was the first building to open to guests back in 2004.

That's just second-hand info but it does make sense. Since they had to provide some smoking-optional rooms back on opening day, it makes sense that they would continue to add smoking rooms to that building as the resort expanded.

Last year we stayed in the building next to that one and I did see people smoking on their balconies.

I believe smoking is permitted in the courtyard areas outside each building. I think there are ashtrays in those areas.
