Are you dating my husband? It is exactly the same with him. When we go to Disneyland, they have a few spots. It is hard when I am juggling all the kids while he has smoke, but worth it. He is much calmer, and easier to deal with. If Disney World completely got rid of their smoking section, it would be very difficult for us to go. I don't think they will, but it does worry me a bit.
The DL smoking section between Autopia and Matterhorn is awesomeness. My partner can have 2 or 3 cigarettes while I ride Matterhorn in the single-rider line 2 or 3 times. Last week on our WDW trip, we had a couple of blow-ups because the DSAs are so few and far between in the Orlando parks now. IMO, cutting their number down so severely just makes for even edgier adults, especially when the parks are hot and/or crowded. Meanwhile, at CSR where we stayed, DSAs were everywhere. So my partner basically never wanted to leave the resort. And that negatively impacted my vacation experience as a non-smoker.
