smoking and gambling???

Ok..doesn't sound like a great *Disney* header...lol, but I'm still trying to convince hubby that DCL is worth the extra money over Carnival... but I hear that there is no gambling/casino area on board... true?
I know we had a ball with the slot machines before..
Also..he smokes, not around our children, but is there plenty of places for him to go and smoke?

nope ... no gambling on board --- your only chance at hitting the tables or rolling the dice is if one of your ports of call has a casino (Nassau has the Atlantis hotel) ... as for smoking on DCL, I don't think it is permitted in the common areas but is OK up on deck and on your verandah ...

It is true that there are no casinos, slot machines, or other types of gambling on the Disney ships...the closest thing you will find is bingo and the jackpot on that can add up more than I would have thought it would!

I am not a smoker but it seemed to me that there were a lot of designated smoking areas so that should not be an issue. All of the resturants however are non-smoking. I think that all of the staterooms are non-smoking however you can smoke on your verandah if you have one.
