smoking @ AKL Savannah view

I swear I read that you could not smoke on a balcony w/ a savannah view, but the cm told me that I was wrong. Anyone know for sure?

I was told by the CRO that you CANNOT smoke on the balconies. Which stinks because my DH is a smoker and we usually toss him outside. We requested a smoking room but were already told we don't have it because we also need a handicapped accessible room. We're already buying gum!

Literature we received at AKL clearly states no smoking on the balconies.

O.K I'm not a smoker but when we were staying there with my mil (smoker)It clearly states NS. She smoked on her balcony and left butts in a can untill mouse keeping took notice and gave her a ashtray. So no one discourages it.But I always feel sorry for the non-smoker next door that has to smell un wanted smoke.

ok. The truth of this is as follows:

All savanah view rooms are non smoking. Non savanah views rooms (some) offer smoking/smoking optional.

in real life, you may be able to get a savanah view room that is 'smoking', but NO savanah view rooms offer smoking balconies. Also in 'real life' so long as you do NOT throw butts/waste/food on the savanah, ( are you are being watched via camera on the savanah view balcony/rooms, you will not be disturbed.).
