smokers @ OKW

we were lucky enough that a week out we were able to secure a villa at OKW, which allowed us two additional days. We have stayed at 5 DVC resorts now, and the one thing I CAN NOT BELIEVE is the amount of people smoking! I saw 4 people smoking by the pool (nasty), and then about 10 people smoking in the outer halls by the rooms. The person under us smokes on the patio, and it is all you can smell on our deck. But, I will say the resort is beautiful.

I would think that all the resorts have smokers.....and it would smell where ever they are smoking.

If you have an issue with people smoking outside the DSAs, bring it to the attention of the resort. The pool area (some part of it) is usually a DSA though at most resorts. Smoking on the patio/balcony is not permitted.

I don't think the chairs around the pool are a smoking area. It is usually a bit away.

A reminder that because smoking discussions turn nasty, and they are not a DVC specific resort policy (it is a WDW-wide policy), they are no longer allowed on the DVC Boards.
