So, is the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island smokey? I'm hoping someone will tell me that there is no smoking in public places in Florida.

I do belive that all of the buildings on Pleasure Island are smoke free, but I think that you can still smoke out side.

The last time I was at AC, there was no smoke in the building.

The buildings are smoke free but the concentration of people smoking outside can be bad for people with asthma or allergies. I always just steered clear of the groups smoking and I've never had a problem!

The only place I ran into a smoke problem was waiting in line to get into the comedy wharehouse. I was kind of stuck there unless I wanted to lose my place in line. But no smoking inside or in the adventurers club and I believe there never has been.

They asked me how I knew
My true love was true!
I of course replied,
something here inside cannot be denied.

They, said some day you'll find,
All who love are blind,
When you heart's on fire, you must realize,
Smoke gets in your eyes.

Sorry. I just couldn't resist. :):):):):wave2:

I have asthma and I had a small problem w/ the smoke at the end of Fantasmic on our last trip. Never happened before, but this last trip was a little windy. The smoke at the very end was so thick you couldn't see the "mountain". Anyhow, I had to use my inhaler because it triggered an attack.

AC and Comedy Warehouse were always the only two nonsmoking clubs at PI. Since the new laws last year, I think, all of the clubs went nonsmoking? Someone from Florida can fill you in on the other clubs, but I thought that law took care of all indoor lounges, bars, etc. or maybe just a Disney. The other clubs used to be terribly smoke filled.

all indoor clubs/restaurants are now 100% smokefree at WDW. (and I believe all restaurants in FL as well.)

however - like others mentioned - people can smoke ANY where else at PI.

But I think it's REALLY rude for a smoker to light up when waiting in line for the Comedy Club. I'm a smoker and I would never, ever do that...it's just rude to those around you.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Think we'll try going there this year.
