However, I co hosted a baby shower yesterday right after work and it was a lot of fun! We played this game, Winner Takes All. What you do is fill a clear piggy bank (I used a clear baby bottle) and the attendees fill the bottle with spare change or greens. You tell them, the winner who guesses the closest amount will take it all. Yes, we were gambling a little bit at church, but for a good cause. So, while the guest of honor was opening her gifts, I went back and counted the money. After the gifts were all open, I asked around the room how much they all thought was in the bottle. The person guessing the closest amount won it all, literally. They won a bottle of ALL laundry detergent and the guest of honor won the $$$$. It was a hoot to see every one's sense of surprise especially on the guest of honor's face.

sounds like a great idea Churches around here gamble all the time, it's the hot spot for Bingo and they even host Vegas night sometimes

I am still laid off of work. It is American Axle that is on strike which put us out of work. GM gets parts from American Axle. We hear GM is starting to get parts from Mexico.

Do they give you any idea of how long the strike is going to last??

We are trying to find someone to watch the kids so we can go to Tony Roma's tonight. You would think with a lot of family around we could find someone to watch them. On Monday's ours has endless ribs. I got my birthday coupon on Saturday and I have 2 weeks to use it. The coupon is for an entree no matter how much so I can get the most expensive one if I want. I never even eaten ribs until about 2 years ago. I like the baby back ribs(less fat). If I bite into a piece of it I have to spit it out no matter what kind of food.

Tony Roma's sounds like it should be an Italian Restaurant...is it an Italian rib place

I have not decided yet. I had to get a regular tag first no matter what. It cost $39. If I want a personalized one then I have to send off for it and it's $30. They say to send in 3 choses because you aren't guaranteed your first one. They have to make sure that no one in SC has the same tag.

My parents ended up watching them. The kids love going over there. My mom said that H did not even cry. I had endless baby back ribs with corn fritter casserole and of course the bread. It was so good. I eat 3 of the casserole and 2 full slabs of ribs.
