Saturday Feb5th-My alarm goes off at 5:30 am. I jump out of bed, shower, get dressed. I then get my DD up, dress her and feed her. I'm then dropped off at the airport at 7ish. I do curbside check in and meet up with my mom. We had breakfast at McDonald's. We then catch our 9:30 am flight. We fly into Orange County.
We arrive at the Disneyland hotel. It was nice, but I DO like the Grand Californian much better. The only complaint I have about the DL hotel is that the hot tub was cold the entire time we were there. And after a long day at a park all I want to do is sit in a nice HOT hot tub. Oh well....Anyway, the first day we just relaxed and went to DTD. We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. I had the Rasta Pasta again. It was heavenly good just like last time. ..It was just my mom, sister, DD and I. I remember walking to the RFC expecting Taeja and her DH to show up. Dinner there wasn't the same without them. After dinner we walked around all the shops more. My gosh the price of Disney souvenirs is ridiculous. $45 bucks for a sweater that you can get for $15 at Walmart? Give me a break!! And the quality wasn't that good. But Disney has to make money somewhere. We eventually go back to the hotel to get ready for the parks the next day. My sister stays with my DD in the room while my mom and I go to the hot tub, or I should say cold tub. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said someone else complained about it too. The next night it was the same, and so on. They kept saying the same thing, someone's working on it, but they weren't sure if they needed to just turn the heat up or get a part for it. My mom and I then walked back to the room freezing our behinds off!!! We watch a little tv when we return and go to bed............
