My kitten came back yesterday from getting neutered. He is quite smelly. How long til I can bath him. Any idea?

Poor kitty. I don't think I would bathe him at all but just let him decide when it's time for him to "have a bath". Most cats will clean themselves. But if in doubt call your vet.

Hope kitty is feeling better soon.

After I brought home my kitties from being spayed and neutered the vet said it was OK to bathe the males immediately but to wait about a week for the female.

I know with all the friends posts I just couldn't resist.
He smells and he has a tail with extra long thick fur with yuck in it. The vet isn't in today or tomorrow and I don't want to wait til Monday.

I aasume then it was not the new lazer castration?
our vet groomed my male the day he was fixed,,, and he was out the cage and on his own in a few hours,, female aws 2 days,,, hes a long haired persian,, with fluffy tail,, he 's hard to keep clean, but i think if hes not bleeding and you are careful, use a wash cloth and no soap,, you should be ok,, just be cautiuous and let him decide if its ok or not,, he'll let ya know

DH and I are so crazy....we always changed the words to match whichever child was the baby at the time...
