We've had a couple threads like this before but it's time for a new one.

Today I was at a local hotel dropping things off for prom tonight and I was just breathing... and it smelled like Disney. I said that and everyone made fun of me. It just felt like I was home at the Boardwalk.

Good thing I'm going back in 1 month 1 week and 6 days....

What disney smells do you smell outside disney?

pine (soarin' over california)

smell of candy corn cuz it reminds me of heimlich's chew chew train in Bug's Land :-D

airport smell

luggage smell

hotel smell

When the cinema at Lakeside first opened, the cinema screens smelt like the inside of an aeroplane...

The smell of drains reminds me of being in ASMu.

Oranges make me think of Soarin'.

My sister's jacket once smelt of Splash Mountain... Bit more awkward since she was sat next to me in a restaurant and was wearing it at the time...

Probably tons more.

Skunk.

Seriously. Every time I smell skunk, I automatically think of Disney World.

And if anyone can guess why, I'll give you a cookie.

Pine. New cars. The fabreeze that smells like MPM. Dewy mornings. After it rains. The pool. *sigh*

I can't describe it, but stale water I guess. It reminds me of all the water rides in WDW.

Brick oven cooking reminds me of walking by Mama Melrose's in MGM.

Diesel fumes reminds me of the Disney buses and all the boats.

BBQs/fireplaces remind me of Spaceship Earth when Rome was burned

Certain soaps and shampoos too because I used them during one of my trips.

The Relaxation bath salt at The Basin in Downtown Disney smells like Soarin'.

My mom says my new shampoo smells like something like Disney, but she can't figure out what it is

Freshly-made ice cream cones

Didn't they have a skunk in that Honey! I Shrunk The Audience thing at Epcot? xD

And I agree with the orange and Soarin'

Yes Julie!! Stale/Musty Water smell totally reminds me of potc/splash/all the water rides. Everytime I smell that (which i quote rarely) I am reminded of Disney. Last time I smelled it was at the Rainforest Cafe for my bday diner (also reminded me of Disney lol)

Also there is this smell that I really don't know how to describe, but it's the smell of the air conditioning in the stores/indoor attractions at Disney. It has this really distinct smell to me.

Dewy Mornings/Certain humid air smells also really remind me of Disney.
Whenever it's a hot dewy morning out my family always says its a Disney morning. hehe

My 'Dancing Waters' lotion from Bath and Body Works vaguely reminds me of Soarin'.

Also from Bath and Body Works, my 'Coconut Lime Verbena' lotion reminds me of my visit to the Swan.

umm u ran into a skunk?

xD No!

But, that would have been quite a traumatizing experience, wouldn't it? D:

You know? I don't honestly know! Because the first time I saw that show was the very last time I saw it too, because during the part where the cat smiled and then turned into the lion, I freaked out and started BAWLING and my parents ended up having to take me out. That was when I was in like, the 3rd grade...and I haven't gone back since. ;>__<

Actually, the smell of skunk reminds me of the Journey Into Your Imagination ride. With Figment, you know? And the part where he's all like "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!" and then he goes into this skunk costume and the smell of skunk blows in your face?

My younger sister says it smells more like coffee tho. And now, REAL skunk smell doesn't even bother her anymore, because she just thinks of coffee beans when she smells it.

1. That lion part scared the crap outta me.
2. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, that. I've never been on it but I've heard about that.

Oh I love these!

Hmm let me see, smells that remind me of Disney? Oh! This one ice cream place smelt like Disney, and my POTC jacket, the smell of the hotel room has never left the jacket, thank goodness!

The smell of any hotel room makes me think of Disney; and fresh popped (very buttery) popcorn automatically makes me think of Main Street.

Strong air conditioning reminds me of rides and stores, the smell of cookies makes me think of the bakery, and I bought a specific body wash to use in Disney, so when I'm at home- I just use that and insta-memories!

the air conditioning smell and the sweetness you smell while going down (i think) mainstreet from the bakeries
